Devi_optimized.jpgI was born in and grew up on the beautiful island of Grenada in the West Indies . I currently reside in  the state of Georgia,USA.

As far back as my childhood days, I've had a deep sense and love for nature and painting.  I studied Art and Design at the Grenada National College and have been painting for quite some years.

I am a member of the Atlanta Artists Center and have done numerous shows and have been awarded throughout. I was an avid member of the Grenada Arts council, a non-profit organisation who for over 30 years have worked tirelessly in promoting visual arts in Grenada.

Through many local and juried exhibitions, I represented Grenada in national and regional trade shows.  I exhibited in West Aalen, Germany, the Organization of American States Headquarters, Grenada Embassy Washington,DC. and the University of the District of Columbia, to name a few. 

I am described as a vivacious and outgoing individual who paints vivid subjects with passion giving attention to light and detail.  My constant love of nature expressed in my work allows me to connect and envelop viewers with a feeling of contentment.  Art is my life, it reflects me.  It teaches one to adapt, appreciate and experience the beauty therein.  For me it's the only way to understand true art and much more.  .  

My work is in private collections in Europe, the United States, Venezuela, Grenada and the Caribbean.
